How to get there

How to get there

Here are some tips on how to get to the location

By car

Probably the easiest way to get to location is by car (at least the last part of the trip as it's quite badly connected by public transport).

From Paris: Highway A10 (5h20)

From Bordeaux: Highway A10 (1h30)

From La Rochelle: Highway A837 (1h20) or D733 (1h25)

By train

The closest train station is: Royan. However it's very badly connected (TER). It's possible to come by train/bus but you unfortunately need to expect a long journey.

From Paris: Paris-Niort TGV, Niort-Saintes TER, Saintes-Royan TER, Bus 111 Royan-Arces (5h45)

From Bordeaux: Bordeaux-Saintes (intercités), Saintes-Royan TER, Bus 111 Royan-Arces (4h total)

By plane

Unfortunately, there used to be direct flights from Stockholm, but they removed them. Fingers crossed they will re-introduce direct flights by 2026 :)

From the UK: London-La Rochelle (1h30) or London-Bordeaux (1h45)

From Sweden: Stockholm-Bordeaux (1 connection - 5h) or Göteborg-Bordeaux (1 connection - 5h)
